Man stabbed at meeting in Wuppertal
A 38-year-old man was seriously injured on Wuppertal's Nordbahntrasse on 13 January. After being stabbed with a knife, he was taken to hospital for inpatient treatment; police said his injuries were not life-threatening.
Investigators say the injured man and a 27-year-old suspect had arranged to meet via a messaging service near An der alten Strecke. At around 1:25 p.m., a physical confrontation occurred and the suspect allegedly stabbed the man once. Criminal police are investigating the background to the incident.
