Man threatens police officers with axe in Wittenberge
A 25-year-old man allegedly attacked a delivery worker in Wittenberge after the worker brought him a food order. Police said the man opened the door holding a knife and brass knuckles, then swung the brass knuckles at the worker, who avoided the blow and alerted police.
According to police, the man insulted responding officers and threatened them with an axe. Officers subdued him using pepper spray and a Taser, handcuffed him, and seized the axe and brass knuckles. Nobody was injured. The intoxicated man was taken to hospital because of a psychological crisis.
