Police officer injured with pointed object in Wiesbaden
At about 16:00 on 23 June, a man unexpectedly attacked and injured a police officer with a pointed object near the Kaisertor in Wiesbaden. The officer then used his firearm. The attacker was injured, received immediate treatment at the scene and was taken to hospital. The Hessian State Criminal Police Office is investigating the sequence of events and the precise circumstances.
