Man arrested after alleged knife robbery in Frankfurt
A 25-year-old woman was allegedly robbed while depositing cash at a bank branch on Roßmarkt in Frankfurt am Main at about 6:25 p.m. on 24 June. Police said that a 37-year-old man approached her from behind, held a knife in front of her and demanded the money. He is then alleged to have snatched the cash and fled.
Officers searched for the man and recognised him in the Bahnhofsviertel district on the morning of 25 June. He was arrested. Because he was wanted under an existing warrant in similar cases, he was due to be taken to a correctional facility after police procedures.
