Two injured after altercation in Werl
Two residents of an accommodation facility in Werl were injured during an altercation in the night of 17 April. A 72-year-old man and a 35-year-old man sustained cut and stab injuries and were taken to hospital. According to preliminary findings, at least one knife was involved. Police were called at about 4:20 a.m. and are investigating on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm; the precise sequence of events remains under investigation. Blood samples were taken because the men may have been under the influence of alcohol or other intoxicants.
