Man suspected of attacking husband with knife in Weingarten
A 58-year-old man was slightly injured during an argument in the shared home of a married couple in Weingarten. His 31-year-old husband is suspected of making a stabbing motion towards him with a knife at about 1:30 a.m. on 21 September. The man fended off the attack and was slightly injured in the process.
The suspect allegedly injured himself with the knife afterwards and initially fled. A police patrol provisionally detained him that morning. Following a hearing before a judge, placement in a specialist clinic was ordered because of his conspicuous mental state; police are investigating on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
