Woman injured with knife during attempted bicycle theft in Wardenburg
A 61-year-old resident was injured with a knife during an attempted aggravated robbery-related theft in Wardenburg, according to police. Two men allegedly tried to take a bicycle parked on the grounds of a detached house at about 3:20 p.m. on July 29. When the woman confronted them, one of the men allegedly punched her in the face and caused a cut injury. The men abandoned the bicycle and fled after the family dog approached. Police are investigating and searching for the two unidentified suspects.
