Petrol station employee threatened with knives in Velbert
Two masked suspects allegedly robbed a petrol station in the Tönisheide district of Velbert on Sunday evening. According to police, they threatened a 43-year-old employee with knives inside the sales area on Nevigeser Straße, physically assaulted him and demanded the contents of the till. They then took a three-figure sum and fled towards Am Kröklenberg. Police searched for the two men with patrols and a helicopter but did not find them. Criminal investigators are handling the case.
