Man robbed after dating-app meeting in Esslingen
A 36-year-old man is alleged to have arranged to meet an unidentified person through a dating app in Esslingen-Zollberg on Sunday evening. After a brief conversation, the pair went to Taifelbergstraße, where three masked men joined them and allegedly attacked the man with their fists. Police said the attackers tied him up and took him to a nearby garden plot. There, they allegedly threatened him with a knife, forced him to disclose bank details and his phone PIN, and took his wallet, mobile phone and other personal belongings. The man was taken to hospital for examination and treatment; the suspects fled.
