Man draws knife on commuter train near Schwaigern
A 19-year-old man allegedly shouted loudly on a commuter train travelling toward Karlsruhe early on Sunday and drew a knife after fellow passengers told him to stop. According to police, two acquaintances tried unsuccessfully to take the knife from him. The train stopped at Schwaigern station, where the man attempted to flee across the platform. He allegedly punched and kicked a witness who blocked his path. Police arrested him with the assistance of a service dog. He was first treated for an injury caused by the dog bite and was then taken to the police station.
