Man slightly injured in attack in Ulm

During a dispute in Karl-Schefold-Straße in Ulm on 7 June, about five people allegedly attacked a 24-year-old man. Police and prosecutors said that a knife and a machete were reportedly used, while one attacker allegedly struck him with a wooden stick. The slightly injured man fled to a petrol station and received treatment at the scene. A 29-year-old suspect was arrested while fleeing; a warrant was issued against him on suspicion of attempted manslaughter and he remains in pre-trial detention. Another possible participant was taken to hospital with a cut injury that evening, but investigators are still examining his role.
