Two men injured in knife altercation in Uelzen
An argument between an 18-year-old man and a 28-year-old man escalated into a knife altercation in an apartment in Uelzen. At about 23:50, the 18-year-old made multiple stabbing motions during a struggle, injuring the 28-year-old in the upper arm and upper body. The 18-year-old also suffered injuries from a knife. Both men were taken to different hospitals with injuries that were in part serious but not life-threatening. Police provisionally detained the lightly injured 18-year-old and are investigating both men, including for dangerous bodily harm and on suspicion of attempted homicide.
