Woman threatened with knife after traffic collision in Stolberg
Following a property-damage traffic collision in Stolberg on 10 July, an intoxicated 37-year-old man allegedly tried to leave the scene. When the woman affected by the collision confronted him, he allegedly threatened her with a knife, according to witnesses.
Bystanders restrained the man, and a scuffle followed in which one man sustained minor injuries. Police restrained the driver and arranged for a blood sample to be taken at hospital. Several other altercations were reported near Salmstraße that evening, and criminal police are investigating the various incidents.
