Man provisionally detained after knife threat in Trier
Police were called to Trier's Palastgarten at about 11:23 a.m. on 3 June following a knife threat. A 40-year-old suspect initially fled but was located in Mustorstraße after a search. Officers saw that he was carrying a knife, ordered him to the ground at gunpoint and provisionally detained him. The 18-year-old victim was not injured, and the investigation is continuing.
