Man demands cigarettes from Münster petrol station with knife

A man is alleged to have demanded a packet of cigarettes from a shop assistant while holding a knife at a petrol station in Münster-Coerde on Tuesday. He had previously placed goods in a shopping trolley. The employee handed over the cigarettes and noticed another knife in the man's waistband as he left the shop without paying. Officers found the man at his home address shortly afterwards and took him into custody. Criminal proceedings were initiated.
