Man suspected of attempted knife stabbing in Stuttgart
A 35-year-old man is suspected of pulling a knife and stabbing toward a 19-year-old after a verbal dispute in the lower Schlossgarten area of Stuttgart-Ost on 15 August. Police said the 19-year-old was not struck.
A 51-year-old woman attempted to intervene and told the man to leave the people present alone. The suspect allegedly pushed her to the ground and dragged her a short distance, causing minor injuries. Police officers arrested the 35-year-old shortly afterwards. A judge issued and enforced a detention order.
