Man with knife threatens 39-year-old on Mannheim river meadow
An unidentified man reportedly ran towards a 39-year-old man on the Neckarwiese in Mannheim's Neckarstadt district on Saturday evening at about 6:30 p.m. while holding a knife. When the 39-year-old tried to protect himself with a branch, he became involved in an argument with the man and two witnesses. The unidentified man used pepper spray and slightly injured the 39-year-old. He then fled towards Dammstraße, and police are seeking witnesses.
