Knife threat following bag robbery in Sigmaringen
In Sigmaringen on October 27, 2026, at around 18:00, a 20-year-old man allegedly punched a 28-year-old man and took his bag after the latter refused to give him cigarettes. When the 28-year-old asked for the bag back that evening, the suspect allegedly became violent again and threatened him with a knife. Police provisionally detained the 20-year-old the next morning and recovered the bag from him. The following Thursday, a judge ordered him held in pre-trial detention on robbery and threat charges; he has remained in custody since.
