Police shooting after knife threat in Sassenberg found lawful
During a police operation on 5 September on Nieländer street in Sassenberg, a single police shot was fired following a knife threat. A 25-year-old man was seriously injured. An investigation commission examined the operation. On 15 October, Münster public prosecutors found that the firearm use was lawful under the police law.
