Man remanded in custody after stabbing injuries in Memmingen
A man suffered stab wounds to his back, abdomen and upper arm during an altercation between two rival groups on Lammgasse in Memmingen. The incident happened on Friday at about 9:30 p.m. and involved eight people in total. The injured person required medical treatment. Police said their investigation established urgent suspicion against a 21-year-old man. He was arrested during the night before Tuesday, and an investigating judge enforced an arrest warrant on suspicion of attempted manslaughter and dangerous bodily harm. The background and motive remain under investigation.
