Two men injured after altercation in Rostock

Two men were injured outside a snack bar on Barnstorfer Weg in Rostock during the night of 11 April. According to initial findings, a verbal dispute between a minor woman and the two men escalated into a physical confrontation.

A 22-year-old companion of the minor allegedly used pepper spray and struck a 21-year-old man in the face. The minor is then alleged to have taken out a pocketknife and stabbed a 24-year-old man in the forearm, seriously injuring him. The 21-year-old sustained minor injuries and eye irritation. Both men were taken to hospital after receiving initial treatment.

Police found the minor and her companion nearby. Officers seized the suspected pocketknife and brass knuckles from the minor. Investigations against both on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm are ongoing, and the precise sequence of events remains under investigation.
