Man injured with knife in Bottrop
A 40-year-old suspect is alleged to have injured a 48-year-old man with a knife in an apartment building in Bottrop on the afternoon of 11 April. The injured man was treated as an inpatient in hospital, and police said there was no acute danger to his life. Officers detained the suspect near the scene. At the request of prosecutors, a judge ordered pre-trial detention on 12 April on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm. A homicide investigation unit and prosecutors continue to investigate.
