Woman injured in knife stabbing at Duisburg park
A 24-year-old woman was injured with a knife at Immanuel-Kant Park in Duisburg on Sunday evening. A 37-year-old witness heard a scream and found the woman bleeding on the ground.
Emergency services treated the stab wound at the scene before taking the woman to hospital for further treatment. The suspected attacker initially fled.
Police later stopped a minor near Mercatorstraße whose clothing appeared to have bloodstains. Officers seized, among other items, a knife with suspected blood traces. The minor is under investigation on suspicion of dangerous bodily harm.
