Man threatens minor with knife at Rostock main station

A 20-year-old man allegedly threatened a minor with a knife at Rostock main station on the evening of 23 November. Federal police said the two had argued over ownership of a light-coloured cloth bag. The minor allegedly took the bag on the south side of the station, after which the man followed him into the station building and onto a train that was still standing there. He allegedly threatened the minor with the knife in an attempt to get the bag back. Railway security staff detained both people, and the man dropped the knife when instructed to do so. Federal police secured further items found on the minor and in the bag, then handed both people over to Rostock criminal police for further investigation.
