Flatmate injured in neck with knife in Kassel
A 30-year-old man was attacked with a knife on the morning of 23 November in a shared flat in Kassel's Rothenditmold district. According to witness accounts, his 31-year-old flatmate stabbed him behind the ear at about 7:20 a.m. The victim suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries and was treated in hospital. The suspect was arrested shortly afterwards outside the building. A judge ordered pre-trial detention the same day on urgent suspicion of attempted manslaughter in conjunction with dangerous bodily harm.
