Armed petrol station robbery in Essen-Steele
An unidentified man robbed a petrol station on Westfalenstraße in Essen-Steele late on Sunday evening while armed with a knife. At about 9:48 p.m., he threatened an employee and forced him to hand over cash. The masked offender took a three-figure sum and fled toward Henglerstraße. A search involving a service dog and a helicopter did not locate him.
