Man allegedly injured compatriot with knife in Reutlingen

A 43-year-old man is under investigation on suspicion of attempted homicide after allegedly attacking and seriously injuring a 49-year-old at worker accommodation in Reutlingen on 12 April. Police said the men had argued in an apartment used as accommodation, during which the suspect allegedly used a knife and injured the other man. Passers-by found the injured man outside an apartment building on Gartenstraße at about 2:20 pm; he received outpatient hospital treatment and was discharged later that day. The suspect initially fled but was provisionally arrested at Stuttgart Central Station that evening. A judge subsequently ordered him into pre-trial detention.
