Man arrested after knife threats in Peine
On 15 January, a 39-year-old man allegedly threatened residents and passers-by with a knife on Rosenhagen street in Peine. No injuries were reported.
After police were alerted at about 11:00, patrol officers encountered the man at the scene and arrested him. Following a medical assessment, he was taken to a psychiatric facility. Police filed several criminal reports, including reports concerning alleged insults, and are seeking witnesses, including a woman who was reportedly approached with two children.
