Knife threat during dispute at Paderborn snack bar
At a snack bar on Borchener Straße in Paderborn on 11 March, a 23-year-old man and an 18-year-old and a 19-year-old man first argued and then became physically involved in a confrontation. Police said the 18-year-old drew a knife and threatened the 23-year-old. The latter broke a plate and injured the 18-year-old on the arm with a shard.
The 23-year-old and the 18-year-old sustained minor injuries; the younger man was taken to hospital for treatment. The people involved initially left the snack bar before police located them. Police recorded cross-complaints of dangerous bodily harm against the two men; following blood samples, they were released.
