Flatmate seriously injured after dispute in Nuremberg
A 55-year-old man was seriously injured after a dispute at a residence in Nuremberg's St. Leonhard district. Police said that his 35-year-old flatmate struck him on the head with a pointed object on the evening of 22 September. The injured man was taken to hospital, and a risk to his life could initially not be ruled out.
The suspect initially fled the flat but was arrested on the morning of 24 September. Criminal police are investigating on suspicion of attempted homicide, and the man was due to appear before an investigating judge.
