Teenager remanded in custody after life-threatening stabbing injury in Nordenham
A teenager was critically injured during an altercation in Nordenham's Museumspark on 15 January. He had arranged to meet an acquaintance to resolve differences, but police said the acquaintance arrived with three other teenagers. Instead of resolving the dispute, the teenager was allegedly attacked and escaped with stab injuries. Emergency responders took him to hospital, where emergency surgery was required; police said he is no longer in danger. Police identified four suspects. A teenager whom investigators currently attribute the largest role to surrendered after a search and was remanded in custody on suspicion of attempted manslaughter.
