Armed robbery at late-night shop in Berlin-Reinickendorf

Four teenagers allegedly robbed a late-night shop on Residenzstraße in Berlin-Reinickendorf on 15 January. At about 1:10 a.m., two of them allegedly entered the shop first and then left again. Shortly afterwards, police said that three masked teenagers, including one of the earlier visitors, entered the shop with an alleged accomplice, threatened the 54-year-old employee with knives and demanded cash. The employee used pepper spray, causing the group to flee without loot. The 54-year-old suffered minor injuries but did not require medical treatment. Officers arrested four teenagers nearby, and a specialist unit is continuing the investigation.
