Man threatens passers-by with knife at Sendlinger Tor square

On 23 August, a man allegedly threatened several passers-by with a knife at Sendlinger Tor square in Munich and made stabbing motions in their direction. Police officers found him at the scene, ordered him to the ground at gunpoint and arrested him. No knife was found during the search. Police said nobody was injured. The man was reported for making threats and held in custody temporarily while criminal police continue their investigation.
