Attempted knife robbery in Kaiserslautern
Two unidentified men allegedly attempted to rob a 22-year-old pedestrian in Königstraße at the corner of Moltkestraße in Kaiserslautern on Sunday afternoon. At around 2:15 p.m., they approached him and asked for cash. After he refused, one suspect allegedly demanded his wallet while the other reportedly took a knife from a backpack, according to witnesses. The 22-year-old managed to get away. Criminal police are investigating on suspicion of robbery and are seeking witnesses.
