Machete threat after dispute at Flaucher footbridge

A dispute over the distribution of alcoholic drinks broke out among a larger group of partygoers near Munich's Flaucher footbridge on Friday night. According to initial findings, a teenager was given a machete and waved it around. A 21-year-old man felt threatened, left the area and called police. Officers detained the teenager at the scene and secured a machete about 50 centimetres long nearby. The teenager was released after police processing, while investigators continue to examine, among other issues, whether the man was specifically threatened.
