Man arrested after attempted stabbing in Munich

Following a dispute over their employment relationship, a 31-year-old man allegedly attacked a 32-year-old man in Munich on 27 April with a pointed object and attempted to stab him. The victim was able to ward off most of the strikes, and a passer-by separated the two men. The 32-year-old then fled into a building, which the attacker allegedly tried to enter. Police arrested the 31-year-old. The 32-year-old suffered minor injuries. During the police operation, the suspect also attacked a police officer, who was slightly injured but remained fit for duty. Investigators from Commissariat 11 took over the case, and the arrested man was due to be brought before an investigating judge.
