Man seriously injured by stab wounds in Recklinghausen
Following an altercation in Recklinghausen on 27 April, a 34-year-old man suffered stab wounds and was seriously injured. According to police, his injuries were not life-threatening. He had been walking on Marienstraße with a 47-year-old acquaintance when an unknown man struck the 47-year-old. The 34-year-old ran away, fell and was then injured by the unknown man, according to police. The 47-year-old was also slightly injured and taken to hospital. The attacker fled, and no possible weapon was found. Investigations into the background and precise sequence of events are ongoing.
