Man threatens traveller and officer with scalpel in Munich

A 66-year-old man allegedly held a scalpel within a few centimetres of a 19-year-old traveller's face in the waiting area of Munich Central Station at about 03:25 on 9 August. On the way to the police station, he allegedly also threatened a federal police officer with the scalpel. Officers found the scalpel, two pocket knives and a spatula during a search. The man was released after police measures were completed.
