Kitchen knife displayed in attempted extortion in Langen
In Langen, an unidentified man allegedly demanded money from a 53-year-old woman while displaying a kitchen knife in a bank vestibule on Saturday morning. He held the knife in front of her. When the woman did not respond, he fled towards Wilhelm-Burk-Straße without any money. Criminal police are investigating attempted aggravated extortion and are seeking witnesses.
