Two men injured in Coburg altercation
A 25-year-old man allegedly used a knife or similar object during two altercations in Coburg on Saturday evening. Two men were injured at Schlossplatz; a minor and a 20-year-old man received outpatient treatment at hospital. Shortly afterwards, the suspect allegedly threatened a group of people with the object at Ketschentor but did not injure anyone there. Police provisionally detained him after a search. An investigating judge ordered pre-trial detention the following day, and criminal police are investigating the circumstances.
