Man injured with knife during dispute in Monheim am Rhein
A 45-year-old man allegedly lightly injured a 33-year-old man on the thumb with a knife after a dispute in an underpass on Weddinger Straße in Monheim am Rhein on 22 March. At about 6 p.m., a witness had reported seeing a bloodstained person carrying a knife outside a grocery store on Friedrichstraße. Police later found and arrested the suspect at the police station opposite the store. After officers identified the injured man, they opened proceedings against the suspect, who remained in custody overnight.
