Man threatens employees with knife after theft in Paderborn
Two men are suspected of stealing goods from a grocery store on Husener Straße in Paderborn on Saturday afternoon. When employees held one of the men during his escape, he is alleged to have pulled a knife from his sock and threatened two staff members with it. Both suspects initially fled but were temporarily detained by police shortly afterwards. The 31-year-old man is in pre-trial detention on suspicion of robbery-related theft involving a knife. The second suspect was released after his identity was established and faces criminal proceedings.
