Suspect arrested after petrol station robbery in Mespelbrunn
At a petrol station on Hauptstraße in Mespelbrunn, a man is alleged to have threatened an employee with a knife and demanded cigarettes at around 19:30 on Saturday. He left the sales area on foot shortly afterwards without taking any proceeds. Following an extensive search, police provisionally detained a 38-year-old German suspect in the municipality. Criminal police are continuing their investigation in coordination with the public prosecutor's office.
