Man remanded in custody after knife attack in Bielefeld flat
A 46-year-old man sustained life-threatening stab wounds in a flat in Bielefeld-Mitte on 19 September. Police said that a 51-year-old man allegedly attacked him with a knife shortly after arriving there at about 18:05. The injured man was taken to hospital. The suspect was later arrested in the stairwell of his home, and a judge ordered him remanded in custody following an application by prosecutors. Investigators are treating the case as attempted manslaughter.
