Attempted knife robbery in Mengen
Two youths are alleged to have attempted to rob a 22-year-old pedestrian pushing a pram in Mengen on 7 May. According to the woman, one of them produced a knife near Schleussbrunnenweg, apparently intending to demand valuables. After the pair looked into the pram, they abandoned the plan and left on a motor scooter. The woman was uninjured, and police are seeking the two suspects.
