Knife used during dispute in Marburg car park
In a car park near Gisselberger Straße in Marburg, a 34-year-old man, a 41-year-old man and the latter's 27-year-old partner became involved in a dispute on 22 September 2026 at about 6:15 p.m. The men fought, and according to the current investigation a knife was also used. Both men sustained minor injuries; police did not attribute those injuries to a particular weapon. The woman also threw an axe towards the 34-year-old but missed. Officers detained all three, who were intoxicated, and seized the knife and axe. After blood samples were taken, the three were released because there were no grounds to keep them in custody. Police are investigating, including on suspicion of aggravated assault.
