Man threatens kiosk customer with kitchen knife in Magdeburg
Outside a kiosk on Salbker Straße in Magdeburg, a 30-year-old man is alleged to have threatened another man with a kitchen knife. The man had previously been escorted out of the shop by the kiosk owner and a customer. Police said he pulled a kitchen knife from his bag at about 15:15 and held it threateningly toward the customer. The threatened man then left the area. Officers checked the man outside the kiosk and seized the kitchen knife. Because of apparent mental-health issues, he was taken to hospital by ambulance; an investigation was opened.
