Man seriously injured in dispute at Südkreuz station
A 22-year-old man was injured with a knife during a physical confrontation outside Südkreuz suburban rail station at Hildegard-Knef-Platz in Berlin. According to the findings so far, he became involved in a dispute with a 19-year-old at about 23:40. The younger man is alleged to have stabbed him in the torso. The injured man underwent emergency surgery and was admitted to hospital; police said there was no danger to his life at that point. Federal police and local police arrested the suspect at the scene. No other people were injured, and investigators are still examining the circumstances and background.
