Man threatens hotel staff with knife and steals valuables in Lüneburg
A 27-year-old man allegedly entered the restaurant area of a hotel business Bei der Lüner Mühle in Lüneburg at about 14:00 on 21 March and threatened several employees with a knife. Police said he had wallets and cash handed over to him or took them from drawers. Employees forced him out of the building using a bar stool, after which police overpowered and provisionally detained him. Nobody was injured. Lüneburg Local Court issued a warrant for his remand the following day on suspicion of aggravated robbery, and he was taken to a correctional facility.
