Man injured in attack at Berlin’s Österreichpark

Several unidentified people allegedly attacked a 38-year-old man during the night in Österreichpark in Berlin-Charlottenburg. According to the initial findings, they used pepper spray and a pointed instrument. The man suffered facial pain and multiple stab wounds to his legs. The attackers then tried to reach into his jacket pocket but obtained no property before fleeing. Officers provided first aid until paramedics took the injured man to hospital for further treatment. Police said his injuries were not life-threatening.
